Technical Commission for Inclusive National Dialogue visits the CDD

A meeting took place today, Monday, October 6th, at 11:00 AM, at the office of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CDD) in Maputo, between the CDD and the Technical Commission for Inclusive National Dialogue, headed by its President, Dr. Edson Macuácua.


During the meeting, the President of the Commission formally invited the CDD to join the Inclusive National Dialogue process, which begins today throughout the country and in the diaspora, recognizing the organization’s prominent role in promoting Democracy, Human Rights, and Social Cohesion in Mozambique.The invitation was well received by the Executive Director of the CDD, Prof. Adriano Nuvunga, who reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to actively contributing to a broad, participatory national dialogue oriented towards building lasting peace.

Prof. Nuvunga stressed that the National Dialogue should be an ongoing process, and not just a response to crises in Mozambican society.
