Beyond dialogue: the urgency of transitional justice in Mozambique

At a time when Mozambique is searching for pathways toward stability and reconciliation, this article offers a critical reflection on the limits of the current national dialogue and the urgent need to move toward a structured transitional justice framework. Grounded in Mozambique’s realities and African approaches, the piece argues that sustainable peace requires more than dialogue—it demands truth, accountability, reparations, and institutional transformation.
