Launch of the Agricultural Campaign (2022 – 2023)
Value Chain of small-scale farmers in the Zambezi Valley: Challenges and Prospects
Under the project “The Power of Voices Partnership – FAIR for All: Enabling Pro-poor Value Chains in Zambézia the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD) in partnership with NANA, and with the support of OXFAM Mozambique and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, will promote on 16 November an engagement between the private sector and the government of Zambézia to discuss the main challenges faced in the 2021 – 2022 agricultural season and prospects for the 2022 – 2023 campaign. This dialogue session will be preceded by a training aimed at new beneficiaries of the PVP project, and the launch of the agricultural campaign, taking place in Milange, on November 15th and 14th respectively.
The project aims to promote global trade and value chains that are fair for all, improving the competitiveness of smallholder farmers and the agribusiness sector, thus ensuring rapid, sustainable, and broad-based economic growth.
