High-Level Event On Voluntary Principles

CDD welcomes you to the High-Level Event on the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, held under the Voluntary Principles Initiative (VPI).

The objective of this event is to reaffirm the Mozambican government’s commitment to the Voluntary Principles, take stock of the progress made since Mozambique joined the VPI in 2024, and define the priorities that remain for the next phase of implementation.

The event will also provide a platform to present the ongoing process of developing Mozambique’s National Action Plan on the Voluntary Principles, promote coherence with the broader National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, and reflect on strategic priorities for 2026 and beyond.
