The Center for Democracy and Development (CDD) and the Center for Legal and Judicial Training (CFJJ) welcome you to the launch event of the Project “Promotion of Human Rights in a Business Environment and Judicial Sector Action in the North of Mozambique”, an initiative that aims to contribute to the strengthening of the capacity of action of the ombudsmen, human rights defenders, companies, and other actors in matters of human rights in the business environment.

Funded by Swiss Cooperation in Mozambique, the Project focuses on developing actions and intervention mechanisms of the institutions responsible for the promotion, respect, protection and realization of human rights, and the training of human rights defenders.

The Project presentation ceremony will be in person and virtual and will be attended by several personalities, with emphasis on Her Excellency Dr. Helena Mateus Kida, Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs; Your Excellency Dr. Elisa Samuel Boerekamp, ​​Director General of the CFJJ; representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Mozambique, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and civil society.
